I have caught my husband having 2 inappropriate "friendships". One with a married mutual friend and one with a stranger.
The last one is still somewhat of a mystery. The only reason I found out about her was he forgot to close his e-mail and I found 2 old chats they had.
The conversation was light but nonetheless inappropriate. I confronted him about it and he said he was embarassed but continued that it was all "just bravado" and there was nothing going on but that he felt he couldn't talk to me.
I got the girls e-mail and e-mailed her too and she of course backed up his story that there was nothing going on but friendship, even though in the chat they were talking about missing each other.
This means they met in person. She continued that they were both at odds with their marriage but that my husband loved me and my daughter and wanted to make our marriage work.
Meanwhile, I didn't even know we were having problems in our marriage. I don't trust him and he still hasn't filled me in on how they met and what they discussed and I think I am afraid to ask or if I even want to know.
I don't even know if I want to be with him anymore.
