How abnormal is is to want to become part of the affair?

My Question: How abnormal is is to want to become part of the affair?

I feel that I can regain some of the loyalty that was lost. I also think that what she has shared should now be shared with me.

I also want to say for the rest of her life she will think about the affair that she chose to have as a good memory and I am stuck with the pain for the same memory.

We have decided to carry on after 32years and I love her all the more at this point, am I grasping want to be involved with one last fling ?
