My husband received a text from a friend of the opposite sex. This is what she sent him. What does it mean?

I just needed to tell you one thing. I am not keeping a distance between us because I’m mad, upset or hurt. I am none of those things. I’m keeping a distance because it’s the right thing to do. For the first time in a long time, I’m genuinely happy. I sincerely hope you are the same.
